About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Energy Industry Analyst to join our team at Kraken Technologies. As a key member of our Industry Analytics team, you will play a critical role in helping us shape a better, more sustainable future for the energy industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and resolve complex industry issues, from root cause analysis to implementation.
  • Provide expert support in resolving errors and bugs in industry messages, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Monitor the success of Kraken's industry products, proactively spotting and resolving issues to protect end-consumer experiences.
  • Liaise with tech, product, clients, and stakeholders to identify new features and enhancements for Kraken's industry products.
  • Gather requirements, define approaches, and help write pitch documents for developers to deliver new projects.
  • Help prioritize work to champion building purposeful, valuable solutions.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, including monitoring and alerting suites, to support business needs.
  • Create frameworks and documentation to enable self-serve in the business, such as industry glossaries, process maps, and onboarding materials.
Requirements
  • Expertise in the Energy Industry of your local market, with a focus on the supplier perspective.
  • An eye for detail to support in spotting and resolving errors and bugs.
  • Curiosity and a passion for problem-solving.
  • A data-driven and outcome-focused approach, recognizing what needs to be done and what doesn't.
  • A keen desire to make things better and identify opportunities for improvement through automation.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and define problems.
  • Data skills or analytics experience, or a passion to learn.
  • Data visualization and dashboarding skills are a plus.
  • Ability to read and write basic SQL, or a passion to learn.
  • Project management skills, including strong organization and time management.
  • A love of learning across subject areas.
  • Excellent listening skills to harness ideas from across the organization.
