Job Description

Quality Control Microbiology Internship

532 GlaxoSmithKline Manufacturing SpA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Quality Control Microbiology team in Italy. As a Quality Control Microbiology Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to the improvement of our microbiological testing processes.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, including the validation of new methods and equipment.
  • Conduct microbiological testing, including the analysis of samples and the interpretation of results.
  • Support the maintenance of laboratory equipment, including the calibration and validation of instruments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Contribute to the improvement of our microbiological testing processes, including the development of new methods and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of microbiological testing principles and practices.
  • Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
