Program V&V Designer

Alstom is a leading company in the mobility sector, committed to creating a sustainable future for transportation. We are seeking a skilled Program V&V Designer to join our team in Bologna.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement validation environments and tools, ensuring compliance with product requirements.
  • Establish and maintain validation procedures and criteria, ensuring requirements traceability.
  • Perform validation activities, producing validation results reports and associated defects.
  • Collaborate with architects and designers throughout the V&V cycle, applying processes and standards.
  • Alert the Program Manager to any events impacting V&V QCD commitments.
Requirements:
  • Graduate in Engineering (Electric, Electronic, Computer Science, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in integration and validation.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in similar roles in safety-critical or mission-critical environments (railway, avionics, military, or equivalent).
  • Excellent knowledge of English language (knowledge of French language is a plus).
  • Leadership, team-working, and coordination skills.
  • Good level of independency.
  • Strong focus on delivering results on time.
Preferred Competencies:
  • Good knowledge and use of electronic laboratory equipment for testing activities.
  • Good knowledge of C, C#, and Python programming languages.
  • Good knowledge of regulations CENELEC EN50128, EN50129, EN50159.
  • Good knowledge of protocols FSFB2, NVFB2/3, IMP, SNMP, TFTP.
  • Good knowledge of Change Request Management workflow and ClearQuest tool.
  • Good knowledge of Requirements Engineering and Traceability.
