Supply Chain Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our Site Logistics team at Marelli. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth management of deliveries, inventory accuracy, and materials flow.

• Delivery Management: Ensure timely and accurate management of incoming and outgoing deliveries.
• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure proper feeding to subcontractors and production.
• Materials Flow: Organize and control internal and external materials flow to optimize logistics efficiency.
• Logistics Support: Provide support to the logistics team in resolving issues with forwarders, brokers, and customs to ensure timely deliveries.
• Transport Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize transport costs and improve logistics efficiency.
• Process Improvement: Implement best practices and improve methodologies to enhance logistics flows and efficiency.
• Reporting and Analysis: Analyze periodic reports for site KPIs and provide insights to the Head of Supply Chain.
• Inventory Discrepancies: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, internal and at subcontractors, to define corrective actions.
• Warehouse Management: Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse, adhering to safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
• Team Management: Provide support to the logistics team and manage projects related to logistics and warehouse material management.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Management, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
• Language Skills: Fluent in Italian and English.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and knowledge of SAP (MRP + Supply Chain functionalities).
• Soft Skills: Accountability for others, attention to detail, integrative ability, project and goal focus, and proactive thinking.
