Job Summary:

Tecnimont is seeking a highly skilled Static Equipment Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for generating high-quality documents and deliverables in compliance with technical project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee the quality of generated mechanical calculations for pressure equipment, ensuring compliance with contractual and company standards, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Conduct technical training as needed and share knowledge with colleagues to stay up-to-date with new design techniques.
  • Review engineering drawings and mechanical calculations for pressure equipment supplied by manufacturers.
  • Coordinate drafting engineers to prepare engineering drawings and transmit necessary information to project leaders.
  • Collaborate in the preparation, updating, and editing of internal norms and standards.
  • Compile and issue summary sheets for loads acting on supports, fireproofing, insulation, painting, and auxiliary structure weights of static apparatuses.
  • Participate in critical apparatus phases of construction and testing as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering in engineering companies or manufacturers of static equipment.
  • Fluent English speaker and writer.
  • Availability to travel for short periods in Italy and abroad.
