To support integration across our cloud environment, we are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect. This role is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless interoperability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Development and Management: Design, build, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business requirements.
• Maturity of Cloud Practices: Drive the maturity of cloud practices within the organization, establishing governance, documentation standards, and best practices to streamline cloud usage and enhance operational efficiency.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices for cloud management, including authentication, authorization, and data protection. Ensure all cloud practices align with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with DevOps, cloud, and development teams to design and implement integrated cloud solutions that facilitate seamless data flow and application interoperability.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Develop monitoring solutions for cloud performance and availability, troubleshooting issues as they arise to minimize disruption and ensure high-quality user experiences.

Technical Skills

• Cloud Platforms: Proficiency with AWS cloud services, including API Gateway and related services.
• Infrastructure Management: In-depth understanding of cloud infrastructure design, development, and maintenance, including experience with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
• Security Practices: Strong knowledge of cloud security protocols, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and token-based authentication.
• Performance Monitoring: Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools and techniques to maintain performance and reliability.
• Automation and Scripting: Skills in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, GitHub Actions) to streamline cloud management tasks.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in cloud engineering, with a proven track record in cloud infrastructure management and AWS cloud services.
• Additional Skills: Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, contributing to efficient deployment and integration of cloud infrastructure.

Benefits

• Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 per year, dependent on experience and location.
• Remote Work: Performance location: Remote.
• Travel: Potential for travel 1 to 2x per year, company-paid to client location.
