Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

As a Bakery Artist at Festival Foods, your role will encompass:

Decorative Skills: Skillfully top, finish, and embellish a diverse range of baked goods, including bars, pies, cookies, doughnuts, cupcakes, and cakes. Visual Enhancement: Elevate sales by crafting visually stunning and distinctive bakery items that surpass our customers' expectations. Customer Engagement: Deliver exceptional service by assisting customers with their bakery inquiries, managing special requests, and bringing their cake design ideas to fruition. Display Management: Ensure bakery displays are fresh and inviting by rotating products and maintaining sufficient stock levels. Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of quality by ensuring all products are fresh and discarding any items that do not meet our criteria. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Cake Decorator II and fellow bakery team members to meet departmental objectives and maintain cleanliness and order. Food Safety Compliance: Keep food safety documentation current and adhere to all food safety protocols. Commitment to Attendance: Exhibit regular and punctual attendance in accordance with the work schedule, providing adequate notice for any absences. Team Support: Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

This position is hourly with a flexible schedule that typically includes mornings, afternoons, weekends, and the possibility of evening and holiday shifts as required.
