Commscope: Manufacturing Production Planner

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Manufacturing Production Planner to join our Global Manufacturing & Operations team in Italy. This role is critical to ensure our manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and cost-effectively to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish daily work priorities/schedules within the department to expedite production.
  • Modify priorities/schedules according to work order specifications, availability of labor, materials, parts, machines, and equipment.
  • Work with Coordinators, Operations Supervisors, and other Planners to execute these schedules.
  • E nsure all orders are shipped on schedule and as economically as possible.
  • Provide input to management to reschedule shipments in cases of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and customer readiness issues.
  • Monitor forward load reports and schedules to recommend overtime and staffing levels for work centers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Business with 2-5 years' experience in a similar role and manufacturing environment.
  • Validated ability to drive successful inventory/working capital strategies, lead time responsiveness and customer service levels.
  • Organizational capability to sustain results through SAP systems.
  • Solid understanding of Supply Chain and order processing.
  • Experience with SAP and reporting tools.
  • Relevant production or materials planning experience.

The estimated salary for this position is €55,000 - €70,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
