We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Specialist to join our STEM IT team at Prysmian Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning and monitoring transport and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of final goods and products.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize transportation flows, routes, loads, and packaging design.
- Prepare and submit logistics packages during the bidding phase, aligning with engineering, installation, and commercial teams on project delivery requirements.
- Support improvement projects to enhance logistics efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and analyze logistics KPIs to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with plant logistics to coordinate intercompany flows, transportation, and return of materials.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain with 2-3 years of experience in similar roles.
- Fluent in English and Italian, with additional languages a plus.
- Proven experience in complex environments with remotely spread teams.
- Ability to travel to sites (30%).
- Self-driven and autonomous, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
