Job Title: Quality Engineer

At Hamdan Resources, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the completion of quality system activities to ensure consistent compliance with quality system requirements.
  • Evaluate data, prepare graphs/charts, and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
  • Close internal and customer corrective actions by monitoring and managing the quality database.
  • Develop, implement, and improve in-house audit processes.
  • Implement ongoing quality improvement processes working with interdepartmental teams.
  • Conduct routine quality briefings with production and machining cells.
  • Manage PPAP samples and PPAP filing system.
  • Prepare and complete action plans in response to corrective and preventative actions.
  • Review quality assurance standards, study existing policies and procedures, and interview personnel and customers to evaluate the effectiveness of the quality assurance program.
  • Perform QA studies such as Gage R&Rs.
  • Manage and promote SSPs and SSP database.
Requirements:
  • Associates/Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience in Engineering, Quality, or other technical discipline.
  • Three years' experience in a manufacturing/quality environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality System Standards, Corrective Action, PPAP, and Discrepant Material management.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Experience utilizing and implementing continuous improvement methodologies and techniques (i.e., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen).
