Software Engineer/Developer - Space and Defence

RINA is currently recruiting a skilled Software Engineer/Developer to join its office in Belgium, Holland, or Germany within the Space & Defence Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software applications, including frontend, backend, or full-stack solutions, to meet the needs of the Space & Defence Division.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and technical stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
  • Participate in technical meetings, providing expert advice and contributing to the development of innovative solutions.
  • Support the company in the development of recommendations for updates to current applications and services.
  • Contribute to the envisioning of IT solutions that align with project requirements and provide meaningful input to the development process.
  • Perform unit and functional testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
  • Maintain application configuration and ensure versioning.
  • Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of C++, C#, Angular, TypeScript, CSS, HTML, SQL, and C# programming languages.
  • Stay up-to-date with Git and DevOps processes, as well as testing frameworks such as Jasmine and NUnit.
  • Utilize MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, to support project tasks and communication.
  • Receive and execute tasking from the team/project leader, taking into account policies, program goals, priorities, funding, and other planning constraints.
  • Plan and execute assigned project tasks, ensuring alignment with company policies and program goals.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong listening and communication skills in English.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering General or Computer Science.
  • Excellent knowledge of C++, C#, Angular, TypeScript, CSS, HTML, SQL, and C# programming languages.
  • Excellent knowledge of Git and DevOps processes, as well as testing frameworks such as Jasmine and NUnit.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Able to receive and execute tasking from the team/project leader.
  • Ability to plan and execute assigned project tasks.
  • Strong listening and communication skills in English.
