Role Overview:

The Functional Consultant will play a crucial role in providing expert support and delivery services to our clients, adhering to Murex's high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver client support services, including tracking and resolving open cases.
  • Participate in upgrade, migration, or implementation projects as a stream member and engage in client workshops as necessary.
  • Oversee defect resolution and product enhancements.
  • Conduct training sessions for both internal teams and clients.
  • Assist clients on-site and begin to take on responsibilities as a Support Coordinator with guidance.
  • Provide internal support to senior team members for demo and pre-sales preparations.
  • Contribute to the evolution of internal products.

Team Dynamics:

The Client Services team in Cyprus is responsible for the implementation, delivery, support, and maintenance of Murex solutions across various regions. Our team offers design, configuration, and support for Murex applications in diverse domains, including Front Office, Back Office, and Risk Management, across multiple asset classes.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to gather business and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with team management.
  • Build solutions based on client requirements and address support cases as they arise.
  • Maintain thorough follow-up on issues until they are resolved.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on assigned modules and lead discussions with business stakeholders.
  • Develop troubleshooting guides for clients to facilitate first-level support.
  • Contribute to training programs for client support teams and end-users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction across various missions.
  • Actively participate in internal initiatives, including training, documentation, and quality assurance testing.
  • Provide regular updates to team leaders regarding issue progress and escalate problems as needed.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably in CCE or ECE) or Computer Science; a master's degree in finance or business is advantageous.
  • 0 to 3 years of experience in a FinTech-related field.
  • A background in finance is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with technical environments such as SQL, XML, and Unix is a plus.
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
  • Strong client orientation and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to be flexible with working hours and travel.
