Position Overview: As the Solar Energy Project Leader, you will spearhead the planning, execution, and operational management of photovoltaic initiatives. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the technical design and engineering of solar energy systems, ensuring the selection of optimal technologies and components.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to uphold quality, safety, and efficiency standards throughout all phases of project development.
- Conduct thorough technical and economic feasibility studies, including performance evaluations and risk assessments.
- Manage supplier and contractor relationships to guarantee the timely provision of materials and services essential for project success.
- Oversee installation and commissioning processes, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the effective operation and maintenance of solar energy systems.
- Work alongside sales and business development teams to identify new project opportunities and provide technical insights for proposals.
- Stay informed about advancements in solar technology and industry trends, identifying potential areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline; a postgraduate degree in renewable energy or solar technologies is advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the solar energy sector, with a proven track record in managing large-scale photovoltaic projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of the design, engineering, and operational principles of solar energy systems and related technologies.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Exceptional communication abilities and a talent for leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges.
- Familiarity with safety and quality regulations pertinent to solar energy systems.
- Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as project demands dictate.
This role is designed to encapsulate the essential duties and qualifications necessary for effectively leading solar energy projects at Atir.
