Requirements:

  • Advanced university degree in social sciences, with a focus on research/evaluation methods or life sciences.
  • 10 years of experience in conducting and managing development evaluations, with a focus on agricultural systems.
  • Working knowledge of English, Spanish, or French.
  • Results-driven, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality evaluations and reports.

FAO is seeking an Evaluation Director to lead its sustainable agrifood systems evaluation team.

  • Develop and implement evaluation strategies, frameworks, and methodologies for sustainable agrifood systems.
  • Conduct and manage evaluations of FAO's programs and projects, ensuring high-quality results and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including Member Nations and UN organizations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, ensuring FAO's evaluation approaches remain relevant and effective.
