Procurement Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Buyer to join our team in Porto Mantovano. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing inventory, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain purchasing plans to meet production and customer requirements, ensuring minimal costs and optimal lead times.
• Manage inventory levels, conducting regular checks and placing orders as needed to meet production forecasts and approved supplier contracts.
• Review daily MRP reports and visually inspect inventory to identify requirements, placing orders and expediting when necessary.
• Qualify new suppliers through our dedicated portal, sending necessary documents as required by our internal procedures.
• Process order confirmations, track delivery dates, and clarify invoice deviations in coordination with Strategic Purchasing.
• Process quality complaints at suppliers to prevent non-quality costs and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage plant purchasing reporting, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective action as needed.
• Request HS codes and country of origin from suppliers and ensure LTS declarations are accurate.

Requirements:

• Technical Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of industrial purchasing experience, with knowledge of technical drawings.
• Proficiency in Italian and English, with strong administration, organizational, and commercial skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SAP and/or Oracle.
