Key Responsibilities:

Assist the certified personnel in:

  • Ensuring that all tasks mandated by the operator are completed during line maintenance operations or work packages, adhering to the protocols outlined in Volotea's Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE). Evaluate the implications of any incomplete tasks and coordinate with the operator to reschedule such tasks for a later maintenance check or timeframe.
  • Conducting troubleshooting and rectification of incoming defects or those identified during routine inspections, along with the planned resolution of existing deferred issues.
  • Confirming that there are no violations that could compromise flight safety.
  • Guaranteeing that the release certificate and/or technical log entry includes all essential details and reference numbers, encompassing information on maintenance that was not finalized but permits a return to service within the approved aircraft limitations.
  • Supporting aircraft operations with technical challenges and liaising with Volotea's Maintenance Control Center to reduce operational disruptions.
  • Ensuring that the aircraft technical log and related documentation are completed to the required standards following the conclusion of all maintenance activities.
  • Providing instructions to the flight crew in the technical log when crew actions are necessary to verify aircraft airworthiness.
  • Adhering to Volotea's internal and mandatory reporting protocols, including Technical Delay reports and Safety reports.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Line Station, including vehicles, tools, and facilities.
  • Coordinating with Volotea Logistics for the reception, storage, and shipment of tools and parts in compliance with the relevant EASA Part 145 regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an EASA Part 147 approved program to obtain an Aircraft Maintenance License or EASA Part 66 License without type rating.
  • Prior experience in an aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment: Line Maintenance, Maintenance Control, or Airline Engineering.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of aircraft systems.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information to all relevant parties both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential. Knowledge of French, Spanish, and Italian is advantageous.
  • A self-motivated, highly organized individual who can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and software (particularly AMOS and Airbus World).
  • Availability to work on a 24/7 rotating shift schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Experience with AIMS is a plus.
  • Current EASA Regulation (Part M, Part 145), EWIS, and Fuel Tank Safety certifications are advantageous.
  • Valid Driver's License.
