Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Production Scheduler to join our team in Italy. This role will report to the Planning Manager Italy and be based in our site in Zola Predosa (BO). The successful candidate will collaborate closely with production managers, shift leaders, and supply chain teams to create and monitor production schedules, ensuring optimal capacity utilization, timely delivery, and efficient use of resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate production workflows, predicting time, resources, and equipment needs to draw up daily production schedules.
  • Monitor production progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to maintain efficiency and productivity.
  • Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials required to meet production demands, allocating staff and resources accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain statistics and checks on production efficiency (KPIs), identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
  • Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance, minimize delays, and meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure timely completion of jobs within budget, addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff to ensure seamless operations.
  • Contribute to the optimization of production procedures and processes.

Required Competencies

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering or Management Engineering) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a production environment is considered a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Fluent English is required.
  • Continuous improvement approach.
  • Result-oriented and proactive approach.
  • Good problem-solving attitude.
