About the Role

This position reports to the Project Operations Manager and is part of ABB's inclusive and diverse team. As a member of the LGBTQ+ business community, we strive to create a welcoming environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans, in collaboration with the Project Controls department.
  • Ensure project execution adheres to best practices and ABB policies, while effectively monitoring and controlling project progress and resource utilization.
  • Oversee project financials, including invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow, while identifying and managing risk.
  • Capture and analyze lessons learned throughout the project, ensuring formal closure as contractually agreed.
  • Drive project acceptance, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment, while applying contract and claims management in accordance with ABB policies and agreements.
  • Support Supply Chain Management in negotiations, claims, and project changes, serving as a key contact for the customer and escalation point for project issues.
Requirements
  • Engineering background with at least 2-5 years of experience.
  • Good knowledge of automation systems, particularly DCS.
  • Able to work under pressure, manage multiple projects concurrently, set priorities, and be goal-oriented.
  • Fluent in Italian with excellent communication skills and proficiency in written and verbal English (French and/or Spanish a plus).
  • Availability for short trips in Italy and abroad.
  • Proactivity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
