Wood is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Life Sciences division in Milan, working on Pharmaceutical and Bio Tech projects across Europe and internationally.

We are committed to delivering exceptional project outcomes to our clients in the Life Sciences sector, ensuring they have well-engineered plants capable of performing world-leading production and research for the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries.

As a Technical Utilities Engineer, you will support the development of projects through all phases of the project life cycle, from basic design to commissioning.

  • Degree in mechanical engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Technical utilities design of industrial projects of medium and large dimensions
  • Solid understanding of technical equipment, Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Refrigeration Systems, Waste Systems, and other utilities
  • Knowledge of design problem and issues related to fire protection system
  • Knowledge of EU directives, PED, MD, and ATEX
  • Knowledge in HVAC design plant would be an advantage
  • Fluent Italian and English languages
