Role Overview

Objective:
Reporting to the EMEA Chemical & Monitoring Solutions (CMS) Integrated Solutions Leader, the Solutions Integration Engineer will identify optimal solutions for the Company's integrated projects and collaborate with teams to oversee and manage projects throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
● Engage in assignments that include developing group standards and guidelines, as well as designing processes related to chemical applications, process equipment, dosing, monitoring, and digital solutions for integrated projects;
● Create preliminary designs based on rough sketches, verbal instructions, or written descriptions;
● Produce process and instrumentation diagrams as necessary;
● Prepare or secure preliminary estimates. Present designs, diagrams, and estimates to the team for customer review and approval;
● Assist the Sales team in ensuring the timely and efficient execution of key projects. Develop flow charts and relevant schedules to guarantee project segment completion dates. Inspect ongoing projects and participate in the start-up of completed key projects to ensure compliance with specifications and standards set by contractors, suppliers, and tradespeople;
● Recommend new design systems and materials to align with business objectives. Explore external contractors and obtain bids from qualified vendors;
● Support New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives, evaluating process control and instrumentation options concerning suitability, cost, maintainability, reliability, future scalability, and adherence to Veolia standards;
● Educate the sales team on UF, RO, and EDI technologies;
● Act as a liaison with ES technical support, serving as a primary contact;
● Provide assistance or management, including start-up, as dictated by project demands, including the preparation of operational procedures or manuals;
● Develop and implement training programs to support the sales team on management ES tools (Progen, Winflow, Proflex Config...);
● Facilitate communication between CMS and ES to advise on the ES portfolio and address customer needs;
● Support validation and qualification processes as well as the sales cycle;
● Adhere to integrity and safety protocols as mandated by VWTS policies;
● Travel approximately 30% of the time to client locations.

Required Qualifications

Educational Background:
● Degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field.
Experience:
● Minimum of 5 years in similar roles;
● Strong background in project design and management;
● Familiarity with the Water Industry and related technologies;
● Experience working cross-functionally in a matrix environment;
● Proficient in CAD; background in Electrical & Control systems is preferred.
Skills:
● Up-to-date technical skills for project design and management;

● Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities;
● Excellent communication skills;
● Ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects;
