Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Position Overview: The Cloud System Engineer will be an integral part of the System & Platform Engineering team. This role focuses on enhancing and advancing the high availability infrastructure deployed across various regions, utilizing a DevOps/GitOps methodology to actively support all engineering teams.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the System and Platform Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the security protocols of Docebo's cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure the resilience and reliability of Docebo's cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement automation strategies to facilitate infrastructure scalability.
  • Advance the infrastructure to align with current market standards.
  • Collaborate with development teams to deploy new services.
  • Identify and track performance metrics for software.
  • Conduct debugging processes on Docebo's cloud infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the development of internal automation and services.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Terraform in complex environments.
  • Extensive experience with Docker and Linux systems.
  • Strong background in LAMP stack.
  • Expertise in cloud services such as Amazon AWS or GCP.
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes and EKS.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog or Dynatrace.
  • Experience with Git and the GitLab ecosystem, including automations and runners.
  • A DevOps/GitOps mindset with a commitment to execution.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and diagnostic abilities.
  • Capability to resolve issues methodically while also being open to intuitive solutions.
  • A strategic mindset with a forward-thinking approach.
  • Adept at guiding technical discussions with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in branching, writing, testing, and deploying code for managing production services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • Strong source code management skills.
  • CKAD or CKA Certification.
  • AWS Certifications.
