Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Position Overview: The Cloud System Engineer will be an integral part of the System & Platform Engineering team. This role focuses on enhancing and advancing the high availability infrastructure deployed across various regions, utilizing a DevOps/GitOps methodology to actively support all engineering teams.
Reporting Structure: Reports to the System and Platform Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance the security protocols of Docebo's cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure the resilience and reliability of Docebo's cloud infrastructure.
- Implement automation strategies to facilitate infrastructure scalability.
- Advance the infrastructure to align with current market standards.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy new services.
- Identify and track performance metrics for software.
- Conduct debugging processes on Docebo's cloud infrastructure.
- Contribute to the development of internal automation and services.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with Python, Bash, or Go.
- Intermediate proficiency with Terraform in complex environments.
- Extensive experience with Docker and Linux systems.
- Strong background in LAMP stack.
- Expertise in cloud services such as Amazon AWS or GCP.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes and EKS.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog or Dynatrace.
- Experience with Git and the GitLab ecosystem, including automations and runners.
- A DevOps/GitOps mindset with a commitment to execution.
- Exceptional attention to detail and diagnostic abilities.
- Capability to resolve issues methodically while also being open to intuitive solutions.
- A strategic mindset with a forward-thinking approach.
- Adept at guiding technical discussions with diverse audiences.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in branching, writing, testing, and deploying code for managing production services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Strong source code management skills.
- CKAD or CKA Certification.
- AWS Certifications.
