Accounting Assistant Job Description

Tyvak International S.R.L. is seeking a skilled Accounting Assistant to join their Finance Office. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting principles and standards knowledge, with experience in similar roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Assist in booking and reconciling company credit cards and related bank statements.
  • Reconcile employees' travel expenses and reimbursements.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Assist with other accounting processes.

Requirements:

  • Belonging to protected categories (L.68/99) is mandatory.
  • 2-3 years of previous experience in similar roles.
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of Genya software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and standards (IT GAAP/US GAAP is a plus).
  • Fluent/good English is required (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.

Contract Details:

  • Contract type: temporary contract – 12 months with the possibility of extension.
  • Part-time (21 hours per week).
