Main Media Center Energy Manager

Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is seeking a highly skilled Energy Manager to join our team for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in 2026. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Main Media Center's energy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the planning, participation, and reporting of all meetings for the preparation of IOC/OBS documents related to the specific project milestones
  • Develop, plan, and design IBC power supply and internal distribution systems for broadcast services and the MMC power supply and distribution power system in collaboration with other units of the energy area involved
  • Ensure compliance with OBS requirements for Media Operations activities and agreements set with Broadcasters and other stakeholders
  • Support all Energy subjects related inside MMC and coordinate the development of MMC-Main Media Center Energy Project
  • Assist the Broadcast Energy Manager during the Tender phase with data collection, technical specifications, sizing, calculations, and specifications of equipment, panels, and circuits
  • Coordinate all Energy related activities inside MMC, including construction, maintenance, and operation
  • Plan, participate, manage, and report on meetings, supporting the issue of MMC's documents and energy project Milestones
  • Coordinate activities with the broadcast manager for important stakeholders such as OBS and Press
  • Negotiate with other functional areas to realize all NRG activities in a harmonious way and report issues for the Broadcast Energy Manager
  • Possible involvement in project development for sustainability topics with partners, suppliers, and other third parties

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or master's degree in electrical engineering, Energy Engineering, Management Engineering, or equivalent field
  • Experience managing people working on shifts on Power Systems sector and in the management of typical projects (sports events or similar events requiring overlay set-ups) from the design phase to the on-site construction phase of the systems
  • Experience in Management of suppliers/contractors and related contracts
  • Experience in design and construction of overlay power supply and distribution systems, both new and integrated into existing power systems
  • Strong background in organizations operating in the above-mentioned sectors as supplier of Overlay Systems and related integrated services
  • Strong English level (interview will be in English)
  • Flexible person with high ability to negotiate
  • Open to work on shifts if necessary
  • Proficient user of Office Suite and related construction software, Planning and Project
