Job Title: Business Analyst - Specification to Product

Nestle Operational Services Worldwide Sa is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst - Specification to Product to join our Analytics, Data and Integration (ADI) Department in Milan, Italy.

About the Role:

As a Business Analyst - Specification to Product, you will serve as a liaison between the IS/IT, Business Services, and corporate functions. You will work closely with the Product Manager to develop the strategy for our packaging/sustainability solution through incremental improvement of the product.

You will analyze, document, and test program development, logic, process flows, and specifications. Additionally, you will document training materials for the product area, deliver training to end-users, deployment, and support teams, and support the analysis and resolution of solution issues.

You will identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement, and opportunities for process automation. You will also be responsible for identifying security & compliance requirements, including roles, associated with the business process and ensure they are considered in the solution design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Product Manager in the development of the strategy for our packaging/sustainability solution
  • Analyze, document, and test program development, logic, process flows, and specifications
  • Document training materials for the product area and deliver training to end-users, deployment, and support teams
  • Support the analysis and resolution of solution issues
  • Identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement, and opportunities for process automation
  • Identify security & compliance requirements, including roles, associated with the business process and ensure they are considered in the solution design
Requirements:
  • Project management experience and ability to manage multiple tasks and define priorities
  • Understanding of various software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Design Thinking, Waterfall)
  • Excellent understanding of business complexity and interdependencies
  • Understanding of business processes and ability to translate it into application requirements
  • Technology knowledge (e.g. SAP, PowerBI, DevOps, SQL, etc.) is beneficial to the job profile
  • Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
  • Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
