Job Position: Gas Trader

In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you'll have the chance to develop, optimize, and execute gas trading strategies in key EU countries from day one. To succeed, you'll need experience in natural gas markets and a deep understanding of gas fundamentals, logistics, and the wider energy market complex.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement profitable trading strategies
  • Work with the algorithmic and systematic trading team to execute trades day ahead and along the curve
  • Identify and research ways to improve existing trading strategies
  • Maximize profit with compliance framework
  • Manage VaR limit assigned by Head of Trading
  • Suggest data analysis to internal analyst team to generate profitable trading strategies

Requirements:

  • At least 2 or 4 years' experience in EU Markets gas trading or cross-commodity trading
  • Proven track record in gas trading
  • Strong business acumen combined with entrepreneurial flair
  • Strong personal interest in financial markets, trading, and options
  • Master's Degree in Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, and Finance (or scientific disciplines)
  • Good knowledge of the English language
