Italy Hull Plan Approval Senior Engineer

RINA is seeking a Senior Hull Plan Approval Engineer to join its office in Genoa, Italy, within the Marine South-West Europe Region Division.

This role focuses on supporting the elaboration of detailed plan and design reviews, resolving issues related to conflicting design requirements, and ensuring client requirements and applicable standards are met.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and approving hull structural drawings of ships, offshore units, and marine equipment, in compliance with Class Rules and Statutory Regulations, for new buildings, ships in service, and ship's conversions.

Additionally, the successful candidate will assist clients during the design and construction phase, providing guidance and support related to structural design, and provide support for the elaboration of detailed marine engineering plan review, in compliance with applicable RINA rules, international conventions, and contractual requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Engineering General and at least 1 year of related work experience, with a proven high level of technical and scientific knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to practical problems.
