Job Overview

The General Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the success of our projects. This includes managing project objectives, customer satisfaction, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in communication and control systems, as well as strong technical knowledge and organizational skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage project activities and resources to achieve targets and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements and implement the safety plan throughout the project.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project risks, including contingency plans.
  • Monitor project progress against the planned timetable and make adjustments as needed.
  • Supervise and coordinate validation and verification of the system.
  • Closely monitor project profit and implement necessary action plans.

Requirements and Skills

  • University degree in engineering (electronic, telecommunications, or informatics) or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a PM or GPM.
  • Experience in communication and control systems projects.
  • Strong technical background in communications, control, security, and passenger information systems used in metro or railways.
  • Optimal knowledge of English for daily work within international contexts.
  • Willingness to be located abroad for medium/long term (>3 years).
  • Autonomy, proactivity, and commitment are essential.
  • Strong motivation to work towards targets.

Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
