Key Responsibilities:


The Demand Planner is responsible for developing a SKU-level operations forecast for a specific portfolio of brands and driving cross-functional alignment to the forecast each month.


Key responsibilities include analyzing current and historical shipment trends, distribution changes, POS data, and trade inventory levels to develop a SKU-level forecast in SAP, reflecting market intelligence into the forecast, and utilizing statistical forecast modeling to develop forecast baselines.


The role also involves facilitating the local SOP process, ensuring forecast is splitting appropriately across weekly buckets/locations via proportional factors in SAP, and proactively communicating pertinent demand information to supply planners.


Requirements:



  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret large amounts of data
  • MS Office knowledge at a relevant level (focus on Excel)
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Degree in Economics or Management Engineering

What You Will Do:


As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for generating the SKU-level operations forecast for a specific portfolio of brands, driving cross-functional alignment to the forecast each month, and ensuring that the forecast is splitting appropriately across weekly buckets/locations via proportional factors in SAP.


You will also be responsible for analyzing current and historical shipment trends, distribution changes, POS data, and trade inventory levels to develop a SKU-level forecast in SAP, reflecting market intelligence into the forecast, and utilizing statistical forecast modeling to develop forecast baselines.


Additionally, you will facilitate the local SOP process, proactively communicate pertinent demand information to supply planners, and support new product forecasting process in cooperation with local commercial teams.
