Position Overview

HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A. is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the execution of various initiatives within our High Voltage Business Unit. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all project-related activities align with our established protocols, contractual obligations, quality benchmarks, and safety regulations while meeting financial and scheduling objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Project Controls team to establish comprehensive project documentation, encompassing scope, financial strategies, timelines, and risk management plans.

2. Uphold best practices in project execution and adherence to company policies. Diligently monitor project advancement and resource allocation. Supervise financial aspects of the project, including invoicing, costs, and cash flow management. Identify and manage risks while seizing opportunities for improvement. Document and disseminate lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure formal project closure in accordance with contractual agreements and facilitate customer acknowledgment.

3. Implement effective contract and claims management practices as per company guidelines and contractual stipulations. Coordinate with Supply Chain Management to secure necessary services, materials, and equipment from both internal and external vendors. Assist in negotiations, claims, and project modifications.

4. Serve as the primary liaison for clients and a point of escalation for project-related challenges. Foster and maintain robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication across all parties.

5. Guarantee compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies throughout the project.

6. Embody the core values of safety and integrity, taking ownership of your actions while supporting colleagues and the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Project Management;
  • Proficient in English and Italian;
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities;
  • PMI/PMP certification is advantageous;
  • Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
