Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate Engineer - Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Bologna, Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for field implementation and remote post-sale technical support for our DAS systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and understand the main functionalities of our DAS systems to provide effective on-site commissioning and generate activity reports for customers and internal use.
- Provide remote and on-site support to customers during monitoring and troubleshooting of our DAS equipment platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer issues and questions, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Support testing and MOP validation on internal test benches.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronic, telecommunication, or IT engineering.
- Fundamental understanding of main cellular technology standards, including 5G, 4G, 3G, and 2G.
- Experience with Linux, Windows Operating Systems, and Networking.
- Fluent Italian and good English knowledge (at least B2).
- Availability to travel locally and internationally (up to 50% of the time).
- Knowledge of principal measurement tools (e.g., spectrum analyzer, optical power meter) is a plus.
