The Head of Risk Management plays a vital role in ensuring the strategic objectives of the business are met, risks are adequately mitigated, and general supervisory needs are efficiently monitored. This position requires high flexibility to handle unforeseen obstacles and opportunities.
Main Objectives:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework to mitigate operational and regulatory risks.
- Regularly review clients' and HCFX Italy's portfolios to identify potential risks and take proactive measures.
- Conduct thorough risk analysis and identification processes to ensure effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date risk registers and documentation.
- Update policies and procedures related to risk management to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular reporting to senior management and authorities, highlighting key risk areas and proposed mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with local top and line managers to ensure effective implementation of risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain an overall financial risk management process.
- Develop and deliver risk-awareness training programs to promote a risk-conscious culture within the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to ensure ongoing effectiveness of risk management strategies.
