About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Engineer to join our team at Unidro, a global player in the heavy industries market of water solutions. As a Proposal Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and executing proposals for industrial water treatment plants, working closely with our engineering and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze client technical documentation and requirements
  • Control and manage subcontracted discipline engineering documents
  • Define engineering requirements and specifications
  • Prepare technical documentation for package accessories, in-line components, and engineering manufacturing services
  • Perform technical evaluations of supplier offers
  • Provide technical support to project teams
  • Optimize packaged systems to minimize cost and simplify compliance with required performance
  • Prepare discipline-related deliverables, including design specifications, lists, procedures, and detailed engineering activities
Requirements
  • University Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or Energy Engineering
  • At least 7 years of experience in industrial plants, with a technical or sales role
  • Ability to read and analyze technical specifications and drawings
  • Experience working with engineering and contracting companies
  • Knowledge of process design for industrial water treatment plants is a plus
  • Experience in technical and commercial meetings with clients in international contexts
  • Experience in cost estimation and commercial negotiation of complex industrial contracts is an asset
  • Fluent English and Italian
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Availability for business travel abroad
