**Project Development Manager for Renewable Energy**

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced Project Development Manager with a focus on renewable energy to lead the development of greenfield projects in Italy.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Site Identification and Acquisition: Identify suitable greenfield sites through market analysis and GIS mapping, collaborating with landowners and stakeholders to negotiate land leases and acquisition agreements.
  • Permitting and Regulatory Compliance: Manage the permitting process for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with local, regional, and national regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, communicating project plans and addressing concerns to seek support for project development initiatives.
  • Financial Analysis and Feasibility Studies: Conduct financial analysis and feasibility studies to assess the viability of renewable energy projects, evaluating project economics, risks, and returns on investment.
  • Project Planning and Design: Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop project plans and designs, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize project layouts and technology selection.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, business administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy project development, with a focus on greenfield development.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, project development processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and permitting renewable energy projects in Italy.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
  • Fluency in Italian and English languages; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
