We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our Italian systems engineering team at D-Orbit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and successful operation of our spacecraft systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop spacecraft systems, including customization of flight-qualified platforms and design of new advanced missions
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop systems architecture and subsystems design
- Coordinate the integration of different subsystems and ensure compliance with stakeholder and mission requirements
- Support the development of test plans, procedures, and setup definition
- Author technical documents and provide technical expertise to the team
- Minimum 1 year of experience in spacecraft design and development
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles and systems-level knowledge of all spacecraft subsystems
- Experience with data busses architectures, Matlab, and Python
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team
