Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Representative to join our team at Veolia. As a Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical customer service, ensuring compliance with all aspects of safety on the job, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities
- Install and service chemical feed and water treatment equipment at designated locations
- Act as a technical consultant and liaison with customer management and technical counterparts
- Perform water analysis and/or collect samples for preparation, labelling and shipment to designated laboratory for analysis
- Work with PLC controls, understand water process treatment design, and repair pumps, instruments and control panels
- Conduct preventive maintenance and calibrate feed pumps, controllers, feed rate charts and maintain log sheets
- Maintain inventory of spare parts (lube oil, tubing, and piping), and adequate supply of reagents, sample containers, and shipment containers necessary for routine as well as special sampling and analysis
- Travel to customer sites and perform preventive maintenance and related services
- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, instruments and control panels. Calibrate feed pumps, controllers, feed rate charts and maintain log sheets. Conduct preventative maintenance on chemical feed pumps, controllers and instrumentation.
- Work closely with Sales to provide insight into new instrument and new service opportunities as well as upsell service and consumables at existing customer sites based on need
- Work frequently in a heavy industrial environment requiring use of Personal Safety Equipment and exposure to noise, dust, chemicals and other similar irritants typical of those found in refinery, chemical plants, power plants, etc…
- Optimise system performance
- Drives Value Generation Plan on assigned customer
- Responsible for efficient week planning, service optimization & time spend vs contract
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or similar
- Possession of driving licence required (licence B)
- IT Proficiency
- Fluent in English & Italian
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory, at times requiring overnight stay, as required
