We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Architect to join our team at Kyndryl. As a Cloud Data Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cutting-edge data solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement large-scale data platforms using relevant approaches such as Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Cloud Scale Analytics, etc.
- Map business processes to analyze and create data solutions in the Public Cloud Hyperscaler environment
- Identify and design architectural solutions with key elements such as performance, security, and reliability
- Develop and deliver compelling demonstrations, proof of concepts, and prototypes to showcase the value of our offerings
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to generate winning responses and create optimal technical solutions
- Build and nurture relationships with external alliance partners to foster a collaborative environment for joint solution development
- Deep domain knowledge of Services offerings and technical solutions in a practice
- Demonstrated experience translating distinctive technical knowledge into actionable customer insights and solutions
- Prior consultative selling experience
- Externally recognized as an expert in the technology and/or solutioning areas, including technical certifications supporting subdomain focus area(s) including: Application Data & AI and Cloud
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree
- 5 years of experience (minimum) selling technical services for multi-industry customers
- Concrete experience in designing and delivering large-scale data platform solutions using relevant approaches (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Cloud Scale Analytics, etc.), which fully respond to customer needs
- Ability to map business processes, aimed at analyzing and creating data solutions in the Public Cloud Hyperscaler environment
- In-depth knowledge of Cloud architectures and components such as: Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Fabric, Mongo DB, CosmosDB, SQL DWH/Synapse/SQL Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Identify and design architectural solutions with key elements such as performance, security, and reliability
- Knowledge of platforms and cloud providers such as: Amazon Web Services (EMR, S3, Redshift, Glue, MSK, Lambda), Cloudera Data Platform (Data Hub, Data Flow, SDX, Data Catalog)
- Database knowledge: NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase), Relational (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), Data Warehousing (Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake)
- Good knowledge in deploying Infrastructure as a Code
- Preferred qualification: knowledge of programming languages: Scala, Python, PySpark Java, SQL, as well as knowledge of versioning tools: Git, CodeCommit
- Preferred qualification: knowledge of Big Data frameworks and tools: Apache Hadoop (HDFS, MapReduce, YARN), Kafka, Flink, Hive, Icesberg, Hbase, etc...
