About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Terminal Development team and drive the transformation of our existing terminal towards the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver the Transformation Roadmap, aligning with business goals, resources, and timeline.
  • Translate high-level business goals into actionable tasks and projects, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Lead the Terminal Development team, guiding senior management and project managers to achieve excellence.
  • Establish company-wide project management, including quality gates, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Regularly follow up and report on the status of critical projects, providing oversight and guidance.
  • Manage resources, including time, people, and budgets, to optimize project outcomes.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including senior management and the Expansion team, as well as external public stakeholders.
  • Adjust projects to changing business environments, ensuring adaptability and resilience.
  • Comply with all safety and security rules and regulations, setting a positive example for the team.
  • Support the department and business unit as required, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Adhere to corporate authority matrices, contract policies, and compliance guidelines.
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities, driving continuous growth and excellence.
Requirements
  • Excellent English language skills, with Italian and German being a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience leading various fields, including operations, technical, and IT.
  • 5+ years of experience in combined infrastructure, technology, and people industries.
  • Experience leading projects with budgets over €1M and durations over 1 year, involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in both boardroom and server room environments.
  • A process-driven mentality, with a clear focus on safety leadership.
  • Port/terminal experience is a significant advantage.
  • A relevant university degree and relevant project certification, such as LEAN or PMP.
