Job Description

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge on all aspects of hazard communication in European Union and other regional or local product regulations.
  • Evaluating the impact of new or changing regulations on current raw materials, finished goods, system environments, and outputs.
  • Obtaining regulatory approval for new raw material introduction and alternate supplier for existing raw material code.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree from an accredited institution in chemistry or a scientific area.
  • At least 2 years' experience in Regulatory Affairs or Product Stewardship function or in a scientific position in the paint and coatings industry.
  • Experience with regulatory management of raw materials and chemical products.

Technical Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Expertise in European Union chemical regulations.
  • Familiarity with raw materials and chemical products.
  • Strong systems/process orientation with analytical thinking, organization skills, and problem-solving skills.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
