Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our team in Milano Bicocca. As a key member of our RD team, you will play a crucial role in improving our enterprise platform and driving innovation in the media delivery space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement physical and virtual machine configurations, including network settings.
  • Troubleshoot complex Linux systems, including high availability storage, web servers, and proprietary service servers.
  • Manage storage provisioning and backup systems.
  • Configure monitoring systems and triggers.
  • Develop solutions and fixes independently.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in the ICT industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux OS.
  • Proficiency in BASH scripting and Shell commands.
  • Experience with network-based, distributed, and replicated storage technologies.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies and systems.
  • Ability to monitor systems with advanced and custom scripts.
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with CI/CD software configuration and automation.
  • Background in ISP-Telco or OTT environments.
