About the Role

We are seeking an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Consultant to join our Risk Management Advisory Middle East, Africa, and Southern Europe (MEA & SE) section in Milan/Vimercante.

You will have a proven track record as a social expert and solid technical understanding, aligning with our commitment to driving sustainability in the ever-evolving energy sector.

Job Description

As an ESG Consultant, you will:

  • Conduct ESG due diligence studies for assets in the energy sector, focusing on the social context.
  • Carry out Social Assessments, Human Rights Impact Assessments, and other social studies according to international standards.
  • Create and deliver ESG Strategies and sustainability programs, including policy and procedures.
  • Perform ESG materiality assessments for companies or portfolio level.
  • Aid the implementation of ESG frameworks and standards, supporting reporting and disclosure of customers.
  • Evaluate ESG performance of companies in the relevant sectors, focusing on the social context.
  • Provide key research, analysis and advisory insight and support to our customers.
  • Evaluate stakeholder engagement, social studies, social risk assessment process against international standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You should have:

  • Demonstrable technical experience of 3 to 6 years, ideally consultancy experience within the sustainability and ESG space.
  • Knowledge of sustainable development goals, The Paris Agreement framework, climate change and energy transition frameworks and standards.
  • Excellent report writing, oral communication and presentation skills in both English and Italian.
  • Flexible attitude to working in a fast-paced and multidisciplinary environment.
