Job Description

Sidel is seeking a skilled Mechanical Test Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and qualifying Filler equipment in accordance with technical, contractual, and safety specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test machine mechanical performances at Sidel's production plant, based on technical, contractual, and safety specifications.
  • Analyze, manage, and solve issues detected during mechanical functional tests to deliver the equipment on time and without defects to Sidel's customers.
  • Deliver proper technical documentation as a final testing report.
  • Interact with other functions to resolve issues and propose improvements in machine functionalities.
  • Develop or implement specific modifications, settings, and tuning to resolve issues.
  • Define the best test procedure to qualify Sidel's equipment internally.
  • Perform or support the start-up of Filler machines at customer sites upon request.

Requirements

  • Mechanical design analysis and understanding (2D and 3D).
  • Experience in assembling and testing complex machinery.
