About the PositionJob Summary
We are seeking an experienced Helicopter Simulator Technician to join our team in Sesto Calende. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our advanced aviation simulators. Your expertise in electrical engineering and avionics will be essential in identifying, finding, and solving complex problems in flight simulation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Expertise
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues in flight simulation systems.
- Collaborate with test engineers and pilots to ensure seamless system updates and bug fixes.
- Support the integration of data, software, and hardware, and exchange of various assemblies.
- Maintenance and Calibration
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on simulators and associated systems.
- Calibrate instruments and perform pre-flight and post-flight checks on designated simulators.
- Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting
- Utilize maintenance management systems to record and track maintenance activities.
- Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on simulators and associated systems.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Education and Experience
- Technical degree or 3+ years of experience in an electronic, avionic, or technical field.
- Skills and Knowledge
- Extensive expertise in electrical engineering.
- Knowledge of avionics is an asset.
- Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office tools.
- Practical, analytical mindset with great troubleshooting skills.
- Language and Communication
- Proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
