The Role:


The Sales Specialist will be responsible for effectively promoting and selling Pall's full FB product portfolio to CPs and KAs setting while fostering positive business relationships to achieve sales targets.



  • Develop/implement CPs and customer account plans to achieve orders and revenue projections and drive sales of new products and applications.
  • Expand customer base (networking, lead follow-up and conversion of opportunities) and cultivate productive long-term relationships with customer senior management and decision-makers.
  • Build and maintain customer profile and SWOT including sales potential, operating structure, sites, contacts, and other relevant information.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends to strategically position Pall solutions for maximum advantage.
  • Stay ahead of competitive activity at existing customers and leverage competitors' knowledge to influence strategic decisions and enhance market positioning.

Requirements:


The essential requirements of the job include:



  • Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in a sales, business development, and/or account management role within a business-to-business environment in direct customers and distributors.
  • Bachelor's degree required – preferably in food science, food technology, or other related fields such as biology, chemistry, or chemical engineering.
  • Proven experience in the food and beverage industry and strong knowledge of Pall portfolio products and applications.
  • Willingness to travel over 50% of the time, primarily domestic travel, conducting face-to-face selling with customers.
  • Proficiency in English and Italian.
