Sidel S.p.A. Dry Field area Department is seeking a skilled Field Service Automation Specialist to support our customers in Italy.

Your Mission

  • Perform installation, start-up, commissioning, and final testing of Sidel End Of Line equipment at customer sites, specializing in automation.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs to provide objective advice and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Test and evaluate equipment performance at customer plants based on technical, contractual, and safety specifications.
  • Properly handle, check, and transfer non-conformities.
  • Execute Root Cause Analysis on automation issues, implementing recovery and corrective action plans.
  • Prepare job progress charts and technical weekly reports on carried-out activities.

Your Profile

  • Technical school or Electronic Engineer degree.
  • Experience with end-of-line machines.
  • Installation and commissioning experience on equipment.
  • Fundamental knowledge of electrical safety equipment, sensors, motion, servo drivers, and inverters.
  • PLC Siemens (S7, SCL, Tia Portal) and PLC A&B.
  • Motion control Elau and Robot Fanuc.
  • HMI Siemens and A&B with ZenOn application.
  • Good English, written and spoken, and French as a plus.
