Aerial Logistics Specialist

The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) is the backbone of the organization's logistical operations. Located in Brindisi, Italy, it provides critical supply chain services to all Secretariat Entities, Peacekeeping and Special Political Missions, Agencies, Funds, and Programmes worldwide.

The position of Aerial Logistics Specialist is located within the Strategic Air Operations Centre (SAOC) under the Department of Operational Support. This department was established to provide operational advisory services to client entities across the Secretariat, including other departments, offices away from headquarters, field missions, and regional commissions.

As an Aerial Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for contributing to the effective management of air transport services, which are crucial to the smooth operation of the United Nations' logistical activities.

This role requires a strong understanding of logistics and transportation principles, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will have a solid educational background in a relevant field, such as aviation, logistics, or a related discipline.

The salary range for this position is approximately **€45,000 - €65,000** per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure takes into account the cost of living in Brindisi, Italy, and reflects the market rate for a professional with similar qualifications and experience.
