Job Title: Field Service Engineer

This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and technical support for Philips' imaging systems in the North-West Italy region.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with customers through proactive visits and effective communication.
  • Provide timely and regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders on equipment issues and resolutions.
  • Identify and resolve customer issues with a sense of urgency, following established escalation processes.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by adhering to customer entitlements, setting clear expectations, and meeting commitments.
  • Manage company assets effectively, adhering to Philips' processes and guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with technical advances and industry trends, seeking out training opportunities to maintain expertise.
  • Independently resolve equipment and customer issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electronics, biomedical equipment servicing, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in biomedical equipment service and technical support.
  • Strong understanding of electronic, mechanical, and networking theory, with knowledge of necessary tools and test equipment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, self-discipline, and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills in English and Italian, with the ability to adapt to changing work requirements.
