About the Role
This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team, supporting the sales and events department in a 4-star hotel in the heart of Milan.
Main Tasks
- Internal Events: Organize and promote cultural activities aligned with the Brand.
- Group and Event Booking: Ensure groups and events are booked and converted according to the hotel's strategy.
Pre-Event Logistics
- Prepare all relevant BEO paperwork and communicate information to other departments.
- Coordinate all aspects of the Groups and Events process.
- On-Site Management: Manage events, post-event follow-up, and billing.
- Maximizing Customer Satisfaction: Ensure guest satisfaction to secure repeat business.
- Booking Support: Assist the Reservations team with individual and group bookings.
Requirements
- Service Focus: Develop a guest-oriented approach and a service-focused personality.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken Italian and English, with great interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Technology: Knowledge of Marriott Standards, PMS Opera, and proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience: Previous experience of at least 1 year is required.
