Job Description

Almacis srl is seeking a highly skilled Proposal Manager to join our team. As a Proposal Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the entire activity of preparing proposals, from initial contact with potential clients to the evaluation of technical and commercial aspects of the project and the formulation of technical and economic offers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the preparation of proposals, including the identification of potential clients, the evaluation of technical and commercial aspects of the project, and the formulation of technical and economic offers.
  • Conduct site visits to clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to gather information and assess project requirements.
  • Examine project documents and identify potential suppliers and products.
  • Manage regular meetings with other proposal managers to discuss project opportunities and evaluate the possibility of participating in tenders.
  • Interface with the tender department and make decisions with the Area Manager.
  • Analyze and study projects to identify potential risks and opportunities, and involve the project manager in the technical evaluation of the project.
  • Request quotes from suppliers and sub-contractors and interface with the purchasing department to suggest potential suppliers.
  • Compile the price list as per the computation.
  • Interface with the design department.
  • Compile the technical and economic tender package.
  • Coordinate with the tender department.
  • Participate in and contribute to company improvement projects.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of the market and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of materials and/or components for industrial plants and their economic value.
  • Proficiency in using software such as Excel, Power BI, and Primus.
  • Availability to work in the office and on site.
