Europe Regional Sales Director Modified Food Starches

Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consulting is seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our efforts in the European market for modified food starches.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the food ingredients industry and proven track record in customer leadership, with experience managing key accounts and distributors.
This role requires a flexible mindset, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Sales Leadership: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve profitability targets and market growth.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, regional accounts, and distributors.
- Market Expertise: Stay ahead of market trends, competitive activities, and customer requirements to develop effective sales strategies.
- Lead sales activities across the European region, focusing on growing our presence in the modified food starches market.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align goals and ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Travel occasionally to meet customers and participate in team alignment and strategy development.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 5-7 years of direct sales experience in the food ingredients industry, with a focus on modified food starches or related products B-2-B.
- Proven track record of customer and market leadership, with experience managing and growing relationships with key accounts and distributors.
