Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Construction to join our team at Edp Renovaveis Servicios Financieros Sa. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for the execution of Solar PV and Onshore Wind Farms projects, from investment memo to commercial operation date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the preparation of construction projects from investment memo to start of construction, including CapEx estimation and planning.
  • Plan and execute construction projects, ensuring compliance with company business plan and EUBR EC Department requirements.
  • Manage contractors, including claims and compliance with contracted terms and conditions.
  • Ensure Health, Safety, and Environment compliance with requirements.
  • Contribute to the definition and improvement of construction vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably in electrical or civil works or similar.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction of onshore wind farms, solar PV, substations, and high-voltage lines.
  • Relevant experience in construction of other renewable or equivalent projects in the power sector is a plus.
Skills and Competences
  • Organizational skills, including creating structure and order, boosting efficiency, and prioritizing tasks.
  • Ability to report key indicators and make rational decisions under pressure.
  • Strong sense of values and ethics, and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
